UKM-P Cable Pass-Throughs for Boxes with Function Retention
The UKM-P cable pass-through for fire-resistant boxes with function retention is specifically designed for this type of box to prevent
the spread of fire and heat into the interior of the box, including the transfer of heat through the cables themselves. Cable pass-throughs are usually placed
in the ceiling of the box, or alternatively in the bottom of the box.
Cable installation is very easy. It is done by threading the cables through the cable pass-through. Subsequently, the top of the pass-through and the passing
cables are coated with fire-resistant paint for cables. After the paint dries, a firm and at the same time flexible sealing of the cables
with the required fire resistance is ensured. No additional sealants or sealing compounds are needed to seal the pass-through.
- Possible placement in the ceiling or alternatively in the bottom of the box
